I personally found they didn’t work well with nails that weren’t very long - by the time I’d stuck them down (using standard tweezers, not ideal) I was only painting a centimetre of nail.
I opted to freehand tips instead with the Gelous brushes.
I use these every time I'm doing a french tip and they're great for getting an estimation of the french tip shape. Before sticking on, I wipe away the sticky layer with nail polish remover but still find the polish will bleed underneath the sticker a little. I just use an angled brush to clean this up and it turns out perfect. Still recommend!
I have tried these once, but didnt master it. The tip colour leaked under the stickers so there wasnt a smooth straight line. Bit disappointing, but will practice and try again, and hopefully increase the number of stars!
I’m sure there’s an easier way of using these but my first experience led to bleeding colours, patchy undercoats and a whole set needing to be redone. What am I doing wrong? Help!
I found they were not very sticky so the polish was getting under them
